The film Last Flight to Abuja was premiered in London last Friday (June 8, 2012). The premiere took place at Troxy cinema, and it was attended by several members of the cast, including Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Jim Iyke, Ali Nuhu, Uru Eke, and Anthony Monjaro.
Last Flight to Abuja is a suspense thriller directed by Obi Emenloye (Mirror Boy). It is based on a series of air disasters, which rocked the Nigerian aviation industry in 2006. The producers of the film, dedicated it to the victims of the plane crash, which took place in Lagos last Sunday (June 3, 2012).
The premiere was well attended and guests had the opportunity to interact with the stars of the film. Star actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde particularly impressed guests at the premiere, as she graciously obliged the large number of fans who wanted to take pictures with her.
Last Flight to Abuja will be released at UK cinemas (Odeon, Cineworld, and Showcase) on July 29. International premieres of the movie are planned for Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa over the coming months.
